In my practice I work with couples in many different stages of their relationship. Some may be seeking Pre-marital counseling and preparing for their new life together, others may be dealing with Mid-Life issues after years of marriage, Some may be dealing with an unexpected Crisis due to infidelity or other concerns, some couples are suddenly Empty Nesters whose children are grown and left the home and now it’s just the two of them and perhaps others want Maintenance counseling where they can continue fine tuning their relationship.
I work with couples of different ages, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation. Even though each couple has different needs, concerns, questions, goals, what’s important to think about is: what is the vision you as a couple have for your relationship?
In our sessions together, I help create a safe space so that couples have the opportunity to learn new ways to communicate with one another and develop stronger listening skills. I can help a couple learn how to Establish and maintain intimacy. In couples therapy I can help you understand yourself and your partner better and assist you in developing conflict resolution skills. I work collaboratively, walking with you on your path and together you and your partner can recognize, discover, or re-discover the relationship you envision.
